JOYCE TAN SOO YUEN
JOYCE TAN SOO YUEN qualified with a Bachelor of Accountancy First Class Honours degree from the University of Singapore in 1976, thereafter completed the A.C.C.A (UK) professional degree whilst working for Coopers & Lybrand in Singapore.
She left for the United Kingdom in 1978.
She qualified as a Chartered Accountant (England & Wales) in 1980 and worked with Coopers & Lybrand (London) before returning to Singapore and joining Tan Choon Chye & Co in 1982 where she was in charge of the firm’s tax practice.
In England she received the First and Second prize awards respectively for overall achievement in the Intermediate and Final Professional examinations held by the Institute of Chartered Accountants (England & Wales). In 2004 she received a distinction grade in the STEP certificate in International Trust Management.
In 1995, Joyce became the managing director of Tan Choon Chye Management Services (Pte) Ltd.
